This week in The Barna Minute, we’re taking a look at how many Columbus adults have watched church online during the pandemic.
As many churches across America prepare for a hybrid holiday season—a time when, traditionally, more Americans than normal find their way into a church service—it’s important to take note how many Americans have given online church a chance during the pandemic.
Data show that half of Columbus adults (51%) have watched church online during the course of the pandemic. Among self-identified Christians, this number increases to 67 percent. While non-Christians are far less likely to have tuned in, nearly one in five (17%) has given online church a chance during COVID-19.
