Before watching the video, engage with the necessary prompts in the leader's guide.
In this final session, participants will explore the concept of creating an environment where curiosity and spiritual questioning are embraced as part of the faith journey. A “curious culture” within a church doesn’t shy away from questions or doubts but welcomes them as opportunities to deepen understanding and build stronger relationships.
Participants will also reflect on the importance of embracing uncertainty and the process of “deconstruction” as a natural part of faith development. This session addresses the fears some church leaders may have about allowing questions, noting that such openness often leads to a stronger, more resilient faith. By focusing on relationships over immediate answers, leaders can support those who are exploring or re-evaluating their beliefs, guiding them gently through the process.
