This week’s episode explores what children's ministry leaders, churched adults and parents say is important for kids to know when they age out of children's ministry.

Barna’s report, Children's Ministry in a New Reality, shows that the most important thing children’s ministry leaders (97%), churched adults (73%) and parents of children ages 5–14 (72%) believe a child should have gained when aging out of ministry is knowing that Jesus loves them.

The second priority faith communities have for the children in their midst is for a child to “feel like a part of their church body” (90% children’s ministry leaders, 62% churched adults, 64% parents of children ages 5–14) when they leave children’s ministry.
